Sara and Monty Spaniel in the Midi-Pyrenees - Mike Clark

I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BA in English and French, and spent many years working as a software trainer and then in process management. I recently completed a NCTJ course in Writing for the Periodical Press.

A year living in a little village near Dijon working as a teaching assistant sparked a lifelong love affair with France, and I now spend part of the year in Cheshire in the northwest of England, and the rest of the time in our old farmhouse in Gascony, southwest France.

I have ridden since the age of five, and got my first pony at the age of fifteen. I have owned or loaned horses ever since. I compete regularly, and have recently become hooked by Le Trec. I am currently in process of taking my British Horse Society Assistant Instructor (BHSAI) qualification.
